We are Indians. It has been one of the principles of my life not to be ashamed of my ancestors. Why should you, indian, want to separate yourselves from the great common stream?

When a man has begun to be ashamed of his ancestors, the end has come.

Here am I one of the least Indians race, yet proud of my ancestors. I am proud to call myself a Hindu.

Why should you feel ashamed to take the name of Indian, which is your greatest and most glorious possession?

Taking country by country, there is not one race on this earth, to which the world owes so much as to the Indians, the mild Indians.

O ye modern Indians! de-hypnotize yourselves, the way to do that is found in your own sacred books.
